Peace Begins with Birth

“Maha Shanti Ma”, or “Great Mother of Peace” is a reminder that peace is our birthright.  Every being comes from peace, and into peace we all return.
Sitting in meditative lotus posture, her great womb pregnant and full, she simultaneously rests within a spiral galaxy, and gives birth to it.  Her arms open in a benevolent gesture; lotus petal hands reveal an illuminated emerald heart, out of which flies a white dove, the symbol of peace and hope.  Her expression is one of compassion.  Her third eye unfolds in a lotus blossom, and her elven ears serve as a reminder that the great mother is always listening.
